End-to-end ISO 27001 certified Cloud Platform

We are extremely proud to announce that we’re now certified according to the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard. This means that our internal ISMS (Information Security Management System) fulfills the strict requirements of the international standard, which encompasses not only the confidentiality of information but also its integrity and availability.

What is ISO 27001?

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an independent, non-governmental international organization with a membership of 163 national standards bodies. The ISO 27000 family of standards helps organizations keep information assets secure. ISO 27001 is the international security standard that outlines and provides the specification for an information security management system (ISMS). It stipulates a set of best practices and details a list of security controls concerning the management of information risks.

What does it mean to hold ISO 27001 certification?

In short, it means that we, Flow Swiss AG, have a strong information security management system in place. During the preparation for certification, we made improvements to our IT infrastructure, general security, employee training, risk assessment, and much more. We then went through the rigorous audit and certification process with the Swiss Safety Center AG, an ISO certification body.

Achieving the ISO 27001 certification is the result of a huge amount of effort and involvement on the part of every Flow team member. We are constantly challenging ourselves to improve our services and provide the highest security and user privacy standards to meet (and exceed) our customers’ needs and expectations.

Thanks to our Swiss-based data centers, which also hold ISO 27001 certification, we now operate and provide ISO 27001-certified end-to-end cloud platform.
