Did you know that our name, “Flow Swiss”, was inspired by a Switzerland Tourism brochure from 2012? The key sentence was “Go with the flow”, referencing Switzerland’s mountain rivers. We are therefore especially proud to be able to announce today that all our cloud services from the region (ALP1-Lucerne) are entirely operated using energy from sustainable hydropower.

A truly green data center

Experience has shown that the concept of sustainability is unfortunately often misused for marketing purposes, which is why it is so important to us to put it into real practice. Our partner and data center provider for the region ALP1 (CKW) officially confirms this with a certificate issued by HKN Wasser Schweiz. This affirms in writing that the company CKW Fiber Services AG from Lucerne sources all its electricity using energy from sustainable Swiss hydropower. This is just one of the reasons why we want to invest more in this region in future.
